Reaction Role Commands

Timed

Hand a role to new members after a configurable delay.

The /timed command gives a user a role a set amount of time after they join the server. Useful for new-member soak periods, tutorial completion delays, or anything that should fire on a timer rather than a reaction.

The dashboard's Timed Roles page lists each role and delay and lets you add or remove the same configuration. Removing a Timed Role stops future grants; it does not take the role from members who already reached the timer.

Premium

Free servers can set timed roles up to 14 days. Premium and partner servers can set timed roles up to 365 days.

Adding a Timed Role#

Usage#

/timed add <Role> <Time>

Valid time units:

w, week, weeks - Weeks
d, day, days - Days
h, hour, hours - Hours
m, minute, minutes - Minutes
s, sec, secs, second, seconds - Seconds

month/months and y/year/years are also accepted. The minimum is 1 minute and the total can't exceed the limits above (14 days free, 365 days with Premium). Roles are granted within about 30 seconds of coming due.

Zira needs Manage Roles, and the role must be below Zira's highest role when the timer fires. If Discord temporarily refuses the change, Zira keeps the durable operation and retries it.
